Dr. Shackelton

Dr. Emily Shackelton was born in Spokane, Washington. In 1989, she graduated with honors from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked as a hygienist in Spokane until 1991 when she moved to Seattle. In 1991, and 92, she made volunteer trips to Belize, Central America to administer dental treatment to rural communities.

After 5 years of private practice, Dr Shackelton decided to expand her dental experience and pursue a degree in Dentistry. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated in 1998. Upon graduation, she received several prestigious awards and decided to return to the Northwest to practice dentistry. Dr Shackelton is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Shackelton is married and has a young daughter. With her family, she enjoys reading, travel and outdoor activities. Dr. Shackelton looks forward to meeting you and helping you with your dental needs.
